House System
The SIFA LACS House System is a dynamic and exciting way to build a positive school environment for students and staff.
The House System aims to:
- Build leadership, collaboration, and school-wide unity.
- Encourage application of academic knowledge to real-world and cultural challenges.
- Promote innovation through STEAM integration.
- Strengthen responsibility, discipline, and participation through house activities.
- Inspire pride in cultural heritage while engaging global issues.
The creation of our six Houses provides our students with a culture of belonging and collaboration within their assorted houses (Guma Ayuyu, Guma Gåmson, Guma Tataga’, and Guma Haggan, Guma Tuninos, Guma Låggua). Students will be placed in their designated House at the beginning of the school year. Students will remain in their house as long as they are enrolled at SIFA. Educational Facilitators are assigned as House Advisors.
House System is inspired by the American Educator and TV Personality,
Ron Clark.
