Guma Gåmson is inspired by the Gåmson, the CHamoru name for the octopus,one of the ocean’s most intelligent, creative, and adaptive creatures. Known for its problem-solving ability, flexibility, camouflage, and unique survival instincts, the Gåmson represents imagination, innovation, and the power of thinking beyond the obvious.

As a house, Guma Gåmson celebrates students who are curious, inventive, and open-minded. Members of this house are encouraged to explore new ideas, express themselves with confidence, and use creativity as a force for meaningful change in their school, community, and environment.

Guma Gåmson advocates for responsible waste management and sustainable habits through recycling. Students learn how everyday choices can reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect Guam’s environment for future generations.
