The Department of Student Affairs at SIFA Learning Academy Charter School fosters a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment that supports student success, social-emotional growth, and development. We are committed to guiding students through academic, behavioral, and personal challenges while promoting integrity, accountability, and empathy in every learner.
CORE SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS
Counseling Services
- Academic Counseling -Helps student set goals, plan schedules, and stay on track towards graduation.
- Personal and Behavioral Counseling - Provides support for emotional well-being, peer relationships, and social skills
- Crisis Intervention - Immediate response during emergencies or critical student concerns.
- Restorative Practices -Focus on repairing harm, rebuilding trust, and strengthening relationships after conflicts.
IEP / 504 Accommodations
- Ensures equitable access for students with learning differences or medical needs.
- Provides academic adjustments, assistive tools, and individualized learning supports.
- Collaborates with families, teachers, and specialists to uphold federal and local accessibility standards.
