Inclusivity. Diversity. Unity in Community.
Inspired by the Tataga’, the CHamoru name for the Bluespine Unicornfish, a common shallow-water reef fish found in Guam’s waters and highly valued in local artisanal and commercial fisheries. Recognized for the horn-like projection on its forehead, the tataga’ is also known for its important role in maintaining healthy coral reef ecosystems.
As a house, Guma Tataga’ celebrates the strength found in diversity and the importance of creating a school community where every student feels welcomed, respected, and valued. Members of this house are encouraged to build meaningful relationships, honor different perspectives, and contribute to a culture of belonging.

- Diversity – Tataga’ students recognize that different backgrounds, talents, cultures, and experiences make the SIFA community stronger, richer, and more connected.
