Intelligence. Kindness. Positive Impact.
Guma Tuninos is inspired by the tuninos, the CHamoru name for dolphins, beloved marine mammals commonly seen in Guam’s surrounding waters. Guam is home to several dolphin species, including spinner, pantropical spotted, and bottlenose dolphins, which are known for their intelligence, social nature, communication skills, and graceful movement through the ocean.
As a house, Guma Tuninos celebrates students who lead with wisdom, compassion, and connection. Members of this house are encouraged to think critically, treat others with kindness, and use their knowledge and talents to uplift their school, community, and island.
